She is due at Wellington on April 4 and at Auckland on April 8 . STEAMER GALE SOLD The Canterbury Steam Shipping Company's steamer Gale, 507 tons, has been sold to Victorian buyers. She will be used in the Australian coastal trade in place of the steamer Coramba, which was wrecked on the Australian coast on November 30 last.. REMUERA CLEARED COLON In continuation of her voyage from Wellington to London, the New Zealand Shipping Company's liner Remuera is reported to have cleared Colon on Monday,. She was despatched from Wellington on February 16. TUSCAN STAR TO LOAD The Blue Star Line motor-ship Tuscan Star is due from Lyttelton at seven o'clock this morning. The vessel will berth at, Queen's Wharf to complete loading. She is scheduled to sail for London, via Panama, on Tuesday. HURUNUI CLEARED PANAMA The New Zealand Shipping Company's steamer Hurunui is reported to have cleared Panama on Monday in continuation of her voyage from Liverpool to Auckland. Napier, Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin. She is due at Auckland on March 28. MONOWAI FROM SYDNEY The Monowai will leave Sydney for Auckland and Wellington to-morrow. The vessel is due here on Monday afternoon and she is to be despatched for Wellington on Tuesday. From Wellington she is to BE.il for Sydney on March 22. AORANGI LEAVES SUVA TO-DAY The Roya\ Mail liner Aorangi will leave Suva to-day, in continuation of her voyage from Vancouver to Auckland. The vessel is due on Sunday and she is scheduled to sail for Sydney at 11 p.m. on Monday. CANADIAN CONSTRUCTOR REPORTED The Canadian Constructor is reported to have reached Cristobal on Monday en route from Halifax to Australia. After discharging aud loading at Australian ports the vessel is scheduled to reach Auckland about April 25 to complete loading for New York, Boston and Halifax. HAURAKI, AT PAPEETE The Union Company's motor-ship Hauraki was due at Papeete yesterday and she is expected at Apia on March 20 to loud fruit for Auckland. In addition, the venael has cargo from Pacific Coast ports for discharge at Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, Melbourne and Sydney. / SULTAN STAR DUE TO-MORROW The Blue Star Line steamer Sultan Star iB due from London in ballast about midday to-morrow. The vessel will berth at King's Wharf to commence loading. Her other loading ports are Gisborne, Napier, 'Lyttelton and Wellington. She is scheduled tp clear Wellington for London on April 4 RUAHINE ARRIVED The New Zealand Shipping Company's liner Ruahine arrived from London yesterday morning and berthed at Central "Wharf to land 31 passengers, as well as mail and 800 tons of basic slag. The vessel experienced exceptionally fine weather in the Atlantic. The conditions were fine in the Pacific, . except during the las.t two days of the voyage, when 11 moderate northeast gale and heavy rain were experienced, but as the wind was in the vessel's favour her arrival was not delayed. For her homeward voyage the vessel is loading at Auckland and she will complete her cargo at Napier. Lyttelton and Wellington. She is scheduled to clear Wellington for London, via Panama, on April 1. PORT WHANGAREI DISCHARGED Continuous strong north-east winds and rough seas were experienced by the Port j Whangarei, which arrived from Tonga late I on Tuesday night. After unloading her fruit cargo at Prince's Wharf yesterday she went on the slip for cleaning and painting. Tomorrow morning she will be removed to Central Wharf to load, and at five o'clock the same evening she is scheduled to sail for Wellington, Picton, Blenheim, Lyttelton, Timaru and Dunedin. On her next trip to Tonga she is scheduled to leave Auckland on March 29. i STRATHAIRD ARRIVES TO-MORROW The 22,000 tons P. and O. liner Strathaird will arrive from Brisbane at six o'clock to-morrow evening on her second excursion cruise to New Zealand. She will berth at Queen's Wharf. The vessel has on board the record number of 1104 passengers, of whom 23 are through passengers from London and 108"i are excursionists from Australia. She is to Tesume her cruise to Wellington at midnight - on Saturday. The New Zealand Shipping Company are the local agents. RANGITANE BERTHED The New Zealand Shipping Company's motor liner Rangitane, from London, berthed at Wellington at 11.30 o'clock yesterday morning. Passengers and mail for North will reach Auckland by train this morning. Baggage will be forwarded by the Karetu. leaving Wellington for Auckland on Friday. After unloading a quantity of her general merchandise cargo the Rangitane will leave Wellington for Lyttelton on Saturday to complete discharge. AUSTRALIAN NAVAL SQUADRON The cruisers Canberra and Sussex arrived from Russell yesterday morning, the Canberra berthing at Prince's Wharf and the Sussex anchoring in the stream. Owing to bad weather on the coast the destroyers Stuart. Vendetta and Voyager did not leave Ruesell until last evening and they will arrive early this morning and berth at Sheerlegs WhaTf. The Squadron will remain in port until Wednesday, when the five warships will leave for the Hauraki Gulf to carry out exercises before they proceed to Wellington.
