MISSIONARY RETURNS
SERVICE IN SOUTH AMERICA! FURLOUGH IN DOMINION i A missionary representing the Open Brethren in South America i for the past 28 years, Mr. 'Allan Smith, t&> turned to New Zealand on furlough on; the Ruahine, which arrived at Auckland yesterday. Mr. Smith,'who is ao companied by Mrs. Smith, is making his third visit to the Dominion since his departure in 1907. For the past siS years he has been working in the uppec reaches of the Amazon, 3000 miles from: the coast.
With Mrs. Smith, He left for Wellington last evening by the limited He will remain in New Zealand about two years before returning to South America.
