SAFE BLOWN OPEN SOME ACROBATIC FEATS EFFORTS TO REACH OFFICE [BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION] WELLINGTON, Monday Entrance was effected to the office of the Princess Theatre durine Saturday night. The -safe was blown open and the night's takings and other cash,, amounting to a considerable sum, wers stolen. The intruder must have climbed up a pipe on the side of the building and then gained access throuch a fanlight above the dress circle. He must have performed a feat of acrobatics in reaching a metal truss six or seven feet below the fanlight, and thence dropped into the dress circle. He had to scale a 12ft. partition' to get into the office, the door of which was locked. After opening the safe and removing the contents he dropped into the stalls and escaped by climbing over box in the lobby.
