NAVY LEAGUE

A MORNING TEA The members of the ladies' committee of the Auckland Navy League were entertained at a morning tea yesterday by Mrs. John Alexander, Remuera Road, wife of the president of the league. The special guests of honour were Mrs. Burges Watson, chairwoman of the ladies' committee, Mrs. R. A. Fletcher, Mrs. T. G. B. Winch and Mrs. E. C. Fenton, who are leaving shortly on their return to England. Gifts of flowers and a small presentation were made to them by Mrs. Alexander, on behalf of the committee. Among those present were:—Mrs. Wyvern Wilson, Mrs. H. Tiarks, Mrs. Shera, Mrs. C. A. Gumming, Mrs. Webber, Mrs. T. H. Palmer, Mrs. A. M. Ferguson, Mrs. H. Bloomfield, Mrs. T. W. Maben, Mrs. H. McCoy, Mrs. Mitchelson, Mrs. F. H. Gilford, Mrs. B. C. B. Brooke, Mrs. Rainger, Mrs. Alan Donald, Miss Craven, Miss M. A. Parker.
