WHANGAREI ACTIVITIES [fbom our own correspondent] WHANGAREI. Monday The annual meeting of tho Whangarei County Sheep Dog Trial Club was held on Saturday, the president, Mr. A. Finlavson, presiding. The club was reported to be in a sound financial position, there being a substantial credit balance and no liabilities. The following officers were elected: — Patron. Mr. D. J. Finlavson; president, Mr. T. o'Carroll; vice-president, Mr. E. H. Sloane; auditor, Mr. G. H. Morrish; executive committee, Messrs R. Steedman, W. H. McLeod, J. It. McInnes, A. J. Comric, L. O'Carroll, G. Child, Grant Child, C. A. Lovell, F. Clotworthy, C. Brown, E. Finlavson, B. Clotworthy, C. H. Finlayson, A. A. Finlavson, J. O'Shea, V. Carter and J. Ball; secretary and treasurer, Mr. C. P. Butler. The next sheep dog trials will be held in Whangarei on May 3 and 4.
