In the matter of a dispute between the Auckland Abattoir Assistants and Freezing Works Employees' Industrial Union of Worker? and the Westfield Freezing Company, Limited, relating to wages and other conditions of employment. Whereas a settlement of the above dispute has not been reached within the prescribed time and no recommendation for a settlement has been made: Now, therefore. I, the undersigned, hereby give notice that a secret ballot of those members of the Auckland Abattoir Assistants and Freezing ' Works Employees' Industrial Union of Workers who are directly concerned in the matter of the above dispute will be taken (011 a proposal to strike* at the following polling places:-—(1) At the works of the Westfield Freezing Company, Limited, Westfield. 5.E.7; and (2) at the office of the Department of Labour.
