Oraka (Putaruru), which is leading in the competition, has scoren 82 in. the first innings ngainst Matamata A'b, 69 for nine wickpts, and a win on the first innings is possible. Okauia is leading Matamata a by one run on the first innings and has four wickets down for 16 runs in a low'-scoring game. A tricky position obtains in the O d Boys-Te Poi game, in which Old Boys, with 112 in the first, innings, are finding matters difficult. Te Poi had scored 72 for four wickets. Details are: — .
