ST. ANDREW'S SOCIETY
In a report presented at the third annual meeting of the St. Andrew's Society of New Lynn it wa» stated that the membership was 312 last year and this number had been increased to 327 this year. The balance-sheet showed the society to be in a sound financial position. The following officers were elected: Chief, Mr. F. S. George; chieftain, Mr. 11. Younie; secretary, Mr. A. Ferguson; treasurer, Mr. W. Schramm; auditors, Messrs. Cathie and Lawrie;- pipers, Messrs. A. Livingstone and K. Court; pianist, Miss M. Ferguson; councillors, Mesdames Brady, Noall and Rose and Miss E. Lawrie, Messrs. S. Gibson, Mitchell, A. Livingstone and McGregor,
