MAN FOUND SHOT

DISCOVERY ON RACECOURSE With a gunshot wound in the head, Patrick William Cronlv, aged 53, was found dead on the Takapuna racecourse yesterday morning. A gun with a discharged shell in it, was found alongside the body. Deceased was last seen at 14 St. Aubyn's Street, Deyonport, where he lived, at tea the previous evening. He had been in poor health for some time. An inquest was opehed yesterday r.fternoon before Mr. W. ft. McKenn, S.M., coroner. It was adjourned after evidence of identification had been taken.
