ANTARCTIC WHALING
SUCCESS OF JAPANESE LARGER FLEET NEXT SEASON FREMANTLE, Feb. 28 Japanese whaling vessels, which have been on an experimental expedition in Antarctic waters, have called at Fremantle for supplies on their homeward journey. It is reported that the expedition was so satisfactory that a larger fleet will operate next season. A number of Norwegians accompanied the expedition, wliibh has so benefited from their advice that it is intended that next season's crews will be purely Japanese.
