BEACH CHAMPIONSHIPS

MOTOR-CYCLE EVENTS The annual beach championships conducted by the Auckland MotorCycle Club will take-place at Muriwai on Sunday. The programme will include the New Zealand open championship for registered riders only, over a course of 20 miles with half-mile straights. There will be a flying start with no fuel restrictions. The Auckland 350 c.c. championship will be over a course of 10 miles. There will be a similar event for machines of 500 c.c. Other races will bo an Auckland open championship over 10 miles and an Auckland side-car championship over a course of six miles.
