TAURANGA association niew grounds opened MINISTER PERFORMS CEREMONY [BV telegraph—own correspondent] TAURANGA, "Wednesday Ideal weather' prevailed to-day for the Tauranga Agricultural and Pastoral Association's annual show, which ivas held 011 the association's new grounds, adjoining the borough. There was :i record attendance from Bay of Plenty districts. Entries in the livestock sections were numerous and well up to the average standard. Hunting events were a feature and attracted large entries. The show .was opened by the Minister of Agriculture and member for the district, the Hon. C.JE. Macmillan, who congratulated the association upon its enterprise in preparing and moving to •its own freehold property. Winners of championships were: — Hack.—E. Johnston. Draught Mare.—J. H. Evans.
