She was Miss Betty Manning, who had gone from New Zealand with her parents and sister, to bo married in Sydney. The delayed ceremony was duly celebrated at St. Mary's Cathedral, and during the wedding luncheon, which followed at the Hotel Australia, the bride was delighted to receive a telephone call from her four sisters in New Zealand, who were holding a party to coincide with the event. The bridegroom was Mr. David Grahame, of Sydney, formerly of Dundee, Scotland. The bride, who is the fifth daughter of Mr. find Mrs. A. E. Manning, of Hamilton, New Zealand, was given away by her father. She wore a suft of pearl grey checked crepe, with a pleated shoulder capo of the material buttoned at the throat. A cornflower blue belt and upturned hat of the same .shade gave a colour contrast, and she carried a sheaf of white water-lilies. Her sister, Miss Joyce Manning, was the bridesmaid, wearing navy and white printed silk and a navy hat. She carried a sheaf of cornflowers. Mr. Eric Bush was best man.
