TE AWAMtTTU CALF CONTEST A SUCCESSFUL PROTEST [from our otvn correspondent"] TE AWAMUTU, Tuesday At last week's annual show of the T» Awamutu Agricultural, Pastoral and Horticultural Association the special challenge \ shield for hand-reared calves, under the auspices of the District Cslf Club, the best trio from any one school, was won by Kakepuku School, with Parawera eecond and Kihikihi third. Subsequently, it was found that one of the Kakepuku calves did not comply witfi the conditions, having been born after September >l, and a. protest was entered.
