LAND TRANSFER APPROVED Advice has been received by Mr. W. J. Jordan, M.P. for Manukau, from the Minister of Internal Affairs, Sir Alexander Young, that the inclusion of an area of land, now in the Mount Roskill road district, in the Onehunga Borough, as recommended by a "special commission set up to consider a petition of 29 residents in the locality, has been approved. The land comprises about 92J acres on the Onehunga side of Queenstown Road and Frederick Street, Hillsborough, and embraces a number of properties on the foreshore of the Manukau Harbour.
