BRITISH GUIANA MATCH VISITORS' BOWLING MASTERED GEORGETOWN. Feb. 7 The cricket match between the touring Marylebone team and British Guiana was drawn. British Guiana in the second innings made 284 runs for two wickets (Wisbart 34, Defreitas 71, Jones 72 not out, Decaires 80 not out). Jones and Defreiias each hit a six and nine fours.
Holmes, who was captain of the visitors in the absence of Wyatt, through illness, tried nine bowlers, but they were all mastered.
