VOIDED GOLD CLAUSE COURT'S DECISION AWAITED (Received February 8, 5.5 p.m.) "WASHINGTON, Feb. 7 The Attorney-General, Mr. H. S. Cummings, stated to-day that the Government is ready for any emergency in the event of the judgment of the Supreme Court on the voiding of the gold clause in securities being against the Administration. He declined to give any details of the steps contemplated. Reports that President Roosevelt had sent a secret memorandum to Congress for use in case of an adverse decision are denied. The Supreme Court's decision is expected to be announced on Saturday.
