The Daily Telegraph says it understands that the programme for the King's silver jubilee oi his accession to the throne will include an Empire broadcast by His Majesty from Buckingham Palace en May 5 or 6. Plans are being matured for the holding of an Empire Trade Week to begin on May 20. < PRISONERS! IN ENGLAND > NO SPECIAL IJLEMENCY LONDON. Feb." 7 The Home Secretary. Sir John Gilmour, stated in the House of Commons to-day that he was :iot prepared to recommend special clemency for prisoners in connection with His Majesty's silver jubilee.
