Notice that at tho next meeting of the Auckland Metropolitan Milk Council next Friday he would move a motion to increase the price of milk was given by Mr. A. C. Trousdale at a meeting of the council in committee yesterday. Tho motion is identical with one that the chairman, Mr. G. W. Hutchison, proposed moving at a special meeting held on Thursday night, but did not proceed with. The motion provides for an increase in price of id a quart to the public, the payment of an additional 2d a gallon to producers, and a proportionate increase to vendors, who would also benefit by a reduction of the levy from id to Jd a gallon.
