CAMBRIDGE INTERESTS
Mrs. J. Ritchie left on Saturday on a visit to Nelson.
Miss Peters, the Manse, is at present visiting Napier. Mrs. Edwards and her mother, Mrs. St. John, are spending a few weeks at Tauranga. Mrs. G. G. L. Taylor, Divisional Commissioner for South Auckland G\rf Guides, is in Auckland for the reception to Lord and Lady Baden-Powell. Miss P. Levesque is also visiting Auckland for the same purpose. Mr. and Mrs. Wilfred Cubis are at present holidaying at The Mount, Tauranga. Other Cambridge visitors to this popular resort include: Miss Gwen West, Miss Edith Holmes, Mr. and Mrs. Les. Waite, the Misses T. S. and D. Newcombe, Mrs. R. W. Hulme and the Misses Winnie and Jean Hulme.
Mr. and Mrs. Couper, New Plymouth, are staying with Dr. and Mrs. N. Waddle. Mrs. W. R. Garrard and Mrs. E. Westlake have been spending the holidays at Waihi Beach. Mrs. Ethel Brown, of the Methodist Parsonage, has been appointed Girls' Supervisor at the children's homo at Papanui, Christchurch. Miss B. Tod is the guest of Dr. and Mrs. H. C. Tod. Mr. and Mrs. A. Holmes are on a holiday visit to the Thames coast. Miss Dorothy Brvce, of the Waikato Hospital staff, is visiting her parents Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Brvce.
Miss Tosti Banks, Pairere, and Miss Mary Ferguson have joined the teaching staff of a private kindergarten school in Cambridge.
