NO POLICE PROTECTION

MOUNT ROSKILL COMPLAINT "There are many annoying thefts in this district and they are likely to continue as long as we have no police station," said Mr. C. M. McCtillough, chairman of the Mount Roskill Road Board, at a meeting of the board last evening. A request for the establishment of a station in tho district had been declined by tho Minister of Justice on the ground that no real necessity existed. It was decided to make another request and point out that jjetty thefts were becoming increasingly frequent in the district.
