DOMINION ELIMINATED VICTORY FOR ENGLAND (Received February 4. 11.45 p.m.) MELBOURNE, Feb. 4 The croquet test match England versus New Zealand was concluded today. Poult-er and Petlev defeated Mrs. Corbett and Hartnell, giving England the victory by four rubbers, eight games, 316 points, to two Rubbers, seven games, 273 points. The second stage of the triangular contest, Australia versus England, has been begun. In the first singles Petley defeated McCleery, Miller defeated Du Pre, Windsor defeated Poulter, Hunt defeated Wemyss. Progress totals are: — England, one rubber, two games, 99 points; Australia, three rubbers, six games, 161 points.
