ROTORUA TOURNAMENT INTERRUPTION BY RAIN MAXWELL WALKER'S DEFEATS [by telegraph-—own correspondent] ROTORUA, Monday Although started in perfect weather conditions tho open rinks tournament of the Rotorua Bowlinjc Club was somewhat delayed late this afternoon by an electrical storm, which passed over tho town. Two rounds were decided during the day, but tho third was postponed after commencement until ; to-morrow morning. j Good bowling was witnessed in the early j games on fast greens. A Eii::prise was created ; by the two consecutive defeats suffered by Maxwell Walker of Auckland, who lost to Evans (Whitiora} and Crowley (Tauranga). Section play will continue until Thursday, after which tii« section winners will meet to decide the semi-finalists and finalists.
