DOG NUISANCE
Sir, —The secretary of the S.F.C.A. seems to see danger and cruelty only where it. suits his fancy. Personally, I made every effort (before writing to the press) to have the dogs removed from the beach at St. Heliers, having written to the Auckland City Council and the Superintendent of Marine several times. The Superintendent of Marine suggested that the police bo asked to take the matter up, but nothing was done. The secretary of the S.P.C.A. suggested that there was a coincidence of a letter appearing in the press at the same time as the dogs were poisoned and suggested inquifljr be made. If ho has anything on his mind he can easily get my name and address. To my mind the sufferings of human beings through the nuisance and the danger to children through coming into contact with these animals, which defile everything they come in contact with, are worth some consideration. Resident.
