Mr. Balfour Dawson, of the Pinnacles, Cape Colville, has announced that lie will not be a candidate for the Colville riding at the next election for members of the Coromandel County Council, as it is his intention to offer himself as a Parliamentary candidate in the interests of the Country Party. Mr. Dawson is a former chairman of the Coromandel County Council.
