LETTERS SENT TO WOMAN WELLINGTON PROSECUTION [BT TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION] WELLINGTON, Wednesday A man named Hubert Reginald Heath was to-day committed to the Supreme Court for trial on a charge .of demanding money by means of men from a woman in London, with whom, it was alleged, he had lived. He pleaded not guilty and was allowed bail of £IOO on condition that he reported daily to the police. The allegations of the police are that in letters accused made various threats, including one to kidnap the woman's child. It was stated that the woman, who had since married, went to Scotland Yard and complained of receiving letters from accused. She loft New Zealand with him six years ago, it was alleged, but he never supported ner or the child, and she supplied money for his passage to New Zealand to get rid of him.
