TRADE NEGOTIATIONS
UNITED STATES READY DISCUSSIONS WITH CANADA WASHINGTON, Jan. 14 It is authoritatively reported that the State Department is ready to open negotiations for a trade agreement with Canada following lengthly discussions with the Canadian Minister to the United States, Mr. W. T. Herridge. It is understood that the agreement will be limited to specified items rather than covering the entire trade field.
