Jan. 14 A tragic affair is reported from Tallarook, 56 miles north of Melbourne. James Albert Boss, aged 23, labourer, for whom 70 residents and policemen have been searching since his disappearance on Friday, was found dead to-day in a creek. There was a bullet wound behind Boss' right ear, his legs and arms were bound and a rock was tied to his wrists.

Subsequently the police detained two men.
