NEW MOTOR ROAD
CAIRO TO JERUSALEM EGYPTIAN ENTERPRISE (Received January 10, 12.25 a.m.) LONDON, Jan. 14 The Daily Express says the Egyptian Government has decided to spend £2,000,000 on a motor road from Cairo to Jerusalem. It will follow the track Moses and the Israelites followed. Travellers in future will make the journey in less than 40 hours. Egyptian engineers have found water deep below the desert sands.
