AUCKLANDERS DEPART TEAM FOR CHAMPIONSHIPS The members of the team selected to represent Auckland at the New Zealand intermediate and junior swimming championships in Timaru next Saturday, Monday and Tuesday left by train yesterday afternoon. They were farewelled by officials of the Auckland Swimming Centre and various clubs, and the hope was expressed that they would succeed in retaining the War Memorial Shield.
