EELS IN THE AVON
Two young men had some good sport in tho small lake which has been formed in tho Avon at Park Terrace, Christchurch, recently. Armed with gaffs and electric torches they secured an excellent bag of big eels by enticing them into tho shallower waters at the edge. Tho biggest, specimens weighed 2611b., 241b. and 201b.
