MOTOR-CAR CAPSIZES
TWO MEN IN HOSPITAL [from our own correspondent] PAEROA, Thursday Severe head injuries were suffered by Mr. C. C. Short and Mr. W. Keys, both of Paeroa, when a motor-car driven by the former skidded in some loose metal and capsized on the main road between Thames and Paeroa, about four miles from Paeroa, at about 7.30 this evening. There were two other passengers in the car, Mr. J. Pickery, who suffered injuries to the log, and Mr. W. Vercoe, who escnped uninjured. Both Mr. Short and Mr. Keys were admitted to the Paeroa Hospital, the former in an unconscious condition. They are both in a fairly serious condition.
