TRAGIC END TO PICNIC
YOUNG CHILD DROWNED [BY TELEGRAPH PRESS ASSOCIATION'] BLENHEIM. Wednesday While picnicking at Momorangi Bar, Queen Charlotte Sound, yesterday, Marion Janet Mclntyrc, aged seven, daughter of Mr. George Lowe Melntyre, orcliardist, of Spring Creek, near Blenheim, went in paddling with other children. After iiome time had elapsed she was missed and her body was seen floating on the water. It was recovered, but life was extinct. Tho child could not swim.
