CRASH INTO HOUSE
FRENCH AEROPLANE ACCIDENT AT CROYDON (Received December 23, 5.5 p.m.) LONDON* Dec. 22 A French three-engined aeroplane was descending at Croydon without passengers when it overshot the aerodrome and - crashed through the wall of a house. The machine came to a standstill alongside a gas stove. The pilot had an amazing escape, being only slightly injured. The occupants of the house, Mr. Fred Martin and his daughter, were sent to hospital but their injuries are not serious.
