Mrs. T. A. Duncan and Miss Jean Duncan, Otairi, Hunterville, arrived in Auckland yesterday by the Strathnaver after an eight months' visit abroad.
Miss M. Gillies is on holiday in Hawke's Bay. She will leave later for Christchureh, where she will be the fuest of Mrs. P. H. Bell, for the weding of Miss Alison Bell.
Mrs. H. N. Lugton, of Grange Road, Mount Eden, who has been abroad for the past two years visiting relatives in Scotland, also touring the Continent, is returning to New Zealand early in February. '
A presentation of a green salad bowl was made by Mrs. F. Catley, president, on behalf of the Taupiri Croquet Club,' to Mrs. F. Day, on the eve of her departure to Glen Eden.
