INCREASES IN CHRISTCHURCH AN AGREEMENT CONCLUDED [BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION*] CHRISTCHURCH. Friday Under agreements which hare been negotiated between the Tramways Union and the Trarmvay Board, employees will receive increases in wages ranging from 5 per cent for the traffic staff to 7\ per cent for the permanent way men. Men on the inquiry staff will also benefit. The agreement has been concluded, but has not yet been approved by the full board and until this approval is given details are not being divulged. There is no doubt, however, that the board will ratify the agreement.
