PASTEURISED CREAM

DIRECT SALE FROM FACTORY PROPOSAL FROM TAURANGA [ilY TELEGRAPH —OWN CORRKSPON KENT] TAURANG A, Wednesdav The Ta uranga Co-operative Dairy Association, acting upon a -resolution adopted at the half-yearly Meeting of suppliers, is circularising dairy companies throughout the Dominion urging an amendment of the regulations governing local supply so as to permit of the sale of cream, after pasteurisation, direct from the dairy factory. it is contended that pasteurised cream could be sold direct at a much cheaper rate than is at present being charged by licensed dairymen, and still show a profit over butter-fat prices. The adoption of the proposal, it is claimed, would benefit all dairy factories.
