EXTENSION OF SERVICES [from our own correspondent] HAMILTON, Wednesday Reporting to the Central (Waikato) Electric-Power Board to-day, the engineer, Mr. J. R. Ellis, stated that a commencement had been made with the laying out of the poles for the extension line from Te Kauwhata toward Whangamarino, and work on erecting the line had been commenced. The canvass of the Raglan area to secure the necessary guarantees was now completed. A request for an extension of the hoard's services along Shank's Road. Maramarua, had been received, and sufficient revenue to warrant the work being proceeded with had been guaranteed. The report was adopted.
