PEN-FRIENDS CORNER

Several of our boy readers have expressed a wish that we open a Penfriends Corner, so we give the names and addresses to-day of those who have asked for correspondents. Readers wishing to avail themselves of the Penfriends Corner should give age as well as name and address, and be sure to state their special interests. We have no overseas list, but as the Herald has a wide overseas circulation, a request published in our corner will probably attract the notice of boys in other countries.

Please mark envelopes for this section Pen-friends Corner, addressing to the Editor, Youth's Leisure Hour, New Zealand Herald.

LAN McINTYRE, 17 Holberg Street, Moonee Ponds, Melbourne writes: I have always wanted to meet or correspond with someone from New Zealand, because from what 1 can gather from books it seeips an interesting place. My age is 17 years and my particular hobby is stamp-collecting of which I ha\ r e a large collection. I have a number of correspondents overseas, mainly in America, China, Italy, Brazil, England and Canada and would be only too pleased to exchange addresses with any young Collector in New Zealand.

ALLAN WILSON, Miriama Street, Taumarunui: Allan is 15 years old, and is interested in sports, stamp-collecting and aviation. Will other boys with similiar interests please write to him?
