WEDDINGS
McCOLL —NAIRN Blue hydrangeas, pink trailing rambler roses and tall green palms formed a delightful setting for the choral wedding of Elizabeth Joyce Nairn, only daughter of Mr. F. M. Nairn, Herne Buy, to Donald McColl, second son of Mr. and Mrs. A. .MeColl, Epsom, at St. Stephen's Church, Ponsonby, last Thursday evening. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a long close-fitting frock of white metalasso with veil of Brussels lace, and carried a sheaf of St. Joseph's lilies. Radia King and Girlie MeColl were bridesmaids and wore long frocks of delphinium blue moss crepe and picture hats of blue Bangkok to tone finished with blue and blush pink velvet. They carried bouquets of delphiniums and pale pink sweet peas. Messrs. Hill McColl as best man and Erie Doyle as groomsman attended the bridegroom. Mrs. W. R Fur by received the guests at the reception held at Point Erin Kiosk, wearing a black angel skin lace ensemble and black hat. She carried a bouquet of mauve-tinted flowers. Mrs. A. MeColl was in a leaf brown ensemble and brown hat and carried a bouquet of autumn-tinted flowers. Mrs. Max Nairn, sister-in-law of the bride, wore a beige lace frock and deep brown hat.
MUR R AY—BUR G OYNE All Souls' Church, C'lcvedon, was the scene of the wedding of Miss Molly Burgoyne, eldest daughter of Mi. and Mrs. Leonard Burgoyne, of Kalora, Clevedon, and Mr. Kenneth Murray, only son of Mr. G. Murray, of Auckland, the vicar, Mr. H. Heaslip, officiating. The church was beautifully decorated with pink and win to carnations and a wedding bell of white hydrangeas hung above the altar rails. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a gown of ivory silk crepe cut on slender lines, with puff sleeves and deep side frills at the hem, graduating in a train. Her embroidered tulle veil was caught up in a tightlitting Juliet cap with sprays of orange blossom and she carried a sheath of lilies. The bridesmaid, Miss Joan Burgoyne, wore a frock of silk crepe in pastel shades of primrose and pale pink, with hat to tone, and she carried ;i bouquet of pink rosebuds. Little Barbara Burgoyne, as flower-girl, wore a hand-embroidered frock of sea-green organdie, which touched the ground, and she carried a posy of gold roses. Mr. F. O'Donnell was groomsman, and members of the Clevedon Golf Club formed an archway of golf clubs for the bridal party as they left the church. Mrs. Burgoyne received her guests later at Kalora in a navy and white marocain ensemble with embroidered coat and small navy hat. She carried a bouquet of red and white carnations.
