GRAIN PRICES FIXED ACTION IN ARGENTINA (■Received November 30, 9.15 p.m.) ( BUENOS AIRES, Nov. 29 The Ministry of Agriculture has issued a decree re-establishing for the new crop year the basic prices of grains originally established in November, 1933, when the Government initiated its grain-buying programme. The price of wheat is set at 5.175 pesos per cwt., equivalent to 1 dollar 68 cents per 2201b. The decree authorised the Grain Control Board to purchase on the Government's account when necessary to maintain prices. Senor Luis Duhau, Minister of Agriculture, announced that the Grain Board in the last year had purchased 4,000,000 tons of wheat, equivalent to 75 per cent of the amount exported. All but 153,000 tons wdro sold, and the board's losses amounted to only 8,000,000 pesos.
