PRESENTATION OF MEDALS The Auckland Society of Arts held a luncheon in the new club rooms yesterday at which were present a very large number of members and friends. The occasion was the presentation of the Bledisloe Landscape and the A. Kohn medals, a lecture also being given by Mr. J. W. Shaw. The president, Mr. Reginald Ford, presided. Among those present were: Mrs. C. Reginald Ford, Mrs. J. D. Campbell Duncan, Mrs. J. A. Mayne, Mrs. R. A. Lippincott, Mrs. K. B. Robson, Mrs. R. M. Algie, Mrs. Shaw, Mrs. Basil Buddie, Mrs. Adair, Mrs. E. W. "Wadham, Mrs. E. Gunson, Mrs. W. J. A. Thomson, Miss A. R. M. Laird, Miss E. Fenton, Mrs. Alan Dignan, Misses Kerr Taylor (3), Miss Ida Lockwood, Miss Tennyson Green, Miss Elaine Goodfellow, Miss J. Mulvany, Mrs. Buchanan, Miss M. Buchanan, Miss Joan Edwards, Miss Wyatt, Miss Betty McGregor, Miss E. Joan Thomson, Miss Briar Gardner, Miss Lippincott, Miss Buddie. \ The winner of the Bledisloe Landscape medal was Dr. J. D. Duncan and the winner of the A. Kohn medal Mrs. J. A. Mayne.
