£50,000 DAMAGES SOUGHT STAVISKY AFFAIR SEQUEL PARIS, Nov. 26 A sensational libel case opened today. Detective-Inspector Bony is suing for £50,000 damages from the newspaper Gringoire for alleged defamatory statements in connection with the Stavisky affair. Inspector Bony's witnesses will include M. Chautemps and M. Tardieu, ex-Premiers, M. Mandel, present Minister of Posts and Telegraphs, and M. Cheron, ex-Minister of Justice.
