TENNIS DANCE
TAKAPUNA CLUB FUNCTION To open the social activities for the season the members of the Takapun.i Tennis Club held a most enjoyable dance at the Takapuna Boating Clubhouse at Bayswater on Saturday evening. On arrival the dancers were received by the members of the ladies' committee, who comprised Mrs. E. Everiss, Mrs. F.» Thqmas, Mrs; Eugene Sullivan, Miss Kay Spriggs and Miss E. Wann. Several songs were provided by Miss Madge Taylor and Mr. F. Sutherland, tho accompanist being Miss Claire Armour. Supper was served downstairs in the supper room, where the tables were arranged with sweet peas and roses. Among tho dancers were Mrs. Barrett, Mrs. Keith Gunn, Miss Buntv Randall, Miss Marie Rollo, Miss Lorn a Goddard, Miss Dollv Mahon, Miss Dorothy Easdown, Miss W. Allnutt, Miss M. Hall, Miss B. Wilson, Miss E. Arthur, Miss Helen Elliot, -Miss N. Ingram, Miss M. Sinclair, Miss Halse, Miss Cooke, Miss C. Armour, Miss M. Taylor, Miss Mawhiney, Miss Bowen, Miss Franklin, Miss Betty 'lvil, Miss Jensen, Miss E. Roberts.
