FINANCES OF TOWN BOARD Differences of opinion as to the financial position of the Papakura Town Board were expressed at last evening's meeting of the board. Mr. D. Weir, chairman of the Works Committee, declared that the board's accounts were getting into debit. He said there was a debit balance and the committee felt it should not authorise new work. The chairman, Mr. H. E, McEntee, said Mr. Weir's statement was misleading. Actually there was a small credit balance. When proposals for new work were brought forward Mr. Weir said the Works Committee would definitely refuse to do work which would lead the board into debt,
