PRESENTATION
_ The president of the Birkenhead and Xorthcote Orphans' Club, Mr. R. R. Hayman, was farewelled at a gathering at Birkenhead on Saturday evening, and was presented with a silver cake dish, engraved with the club's gram and suitably inscribed. The presentation was made on behalf of members of the club by Mr. D. M. Lawson. a former president and secretary, Mr. Hayman has. left to take op his residence a£ Wellington..
