WEDDING

RAMAGE —McCRYSTAL The wedding was solemnised at St. Barnabas' Church on Saturday afternoon of Miss Norceu McCrvstal, only daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. R. McCrvstal, of the Malay States, and Mr. Erwin Robert Bamage, elder son of Mr. and Mrs. John Ross Bamage, of Mason's Avenue, Hern<> Bay. The Rev. H. Taylor officiated, and Mr. Hardv ifeaved the wedding music. The bride, who entered the church with her brother, Mr. Boley McCrystal, wore a charming frock of beige stiffener! cobweb lace. The skirt, which fitted eloselv as far as the knees, formed a full flare falling as a train at the hack, the deep hem being of appliqued bulrush brown taffeta: Small appliqued flowers in the same brown material were placed at intervals up the sides. The corsage was caught in the front of the neckline with clusters of flowers made from the two-toned materials, and a smart elbow length cape fell from the shoulders. Her hat was of brown crinoline straw, with a narrow brim turned up at the back and finished with a flat beige coloured rose. A bouquet of roses in bright autumn shades was carried. Th» only bridesmaid was Miss Nell Bam ace, sister of the bridegroom, who wore a frock of wildrose pink angelskin lace with wide shirred velvet sleeves in the same shade. Her wide-brimmed leghorn hat was swathed with velvet ribbons and trijnrned with a large flat pink rose on the front of the brim. She carried pink roses and sweetpeas. The best man was Mr Albert McKeown. After the ceremony a reception was held in the Parnell tea kiosk, where the guests were received by Mrs. Thomas McKeown, aunt of the bride, who wore an ensemble of black marocain and black Baku straw hat. She carried a posy of pansies and sweetpeas. Mrs. J. R. Rainage, mother of thp bridegroom,' Wore a black georgette frock and black ring velvet hat. Her bouquet was of blue cornflowers and sweetpeas. Mrs. Howey Walker wore a frock of navy taffeta and wide brimmed navy straw hat trimmed with field flowers.
