CARS IN COLLISION

ACCIDENT NEAR PUKEKOHE [from our own correspondent] PUKEKOHE. Sunday Slight injuries were suffered by occupants of two motor-cars which collided oh the Bombay deviation about- a mile south of Pukekohe shortly after nine o'clock on Saturday night, v A sedan car driven by Mr. L. G. Roberts, of "Waihi, was proceeding southwards and the other car, driven by Mr, W. Gibbs, of Ngaruawahia, was travelling in the opposite direction. Mr. Roberts' wife and daughter, who were travelling with him, were slightly injured, but the driver and another passenger, Mr. Norman Johns, escaped unhurt. The party stayed at Pukekohe for the night. Mrs. Gibbs, who was a passenger in the. other car, was" also slightly injured, but was able to proceed home with her husband. Both front wheels of Mr. Gibbs' car were torn off, while the right mudguard and front wheel of the other car were damaged;
