EXCURSION TO TAURANGA Owing to the popularity enjoyed by recent railway excursions, the Hallway Department has arranged .ar trip to Mount Maunganui, Tauranga, early next month. A train will leave Auckland at 11.45 p.m.'on Saturday, December 8, arriving at the Mount at 8 a.m. tho following day, after stopping at Tauranga for breakfast. The return trip will start at 3.45 p.m. oft December 9 and Auckland will be reached at 10.25 p.m. Details of fares are advertised. Owing to the fact that the Duke of Gloucester will be travelling from Rotorua to Auckland on December 24, the daylight limited express for Wellington that day will leave Auckland at 8.55 a.m. instead of 8 a.m. The train will be subject to a delay of aboutan hour between Auckland and Frnnkion to
