BUTTER-FAT PAYMENTS
KAIPARA AND ALBERTLAND INCREASE IN OUTPUT [moil OUR OWN correspondent] WELLSFOED. Friday The Kaipara Co-operative Dairy Company, Limited, made an advance payment for October cream of superfine quality at the rate of 6£d per lb. of butter-fat, with a deduction of per lb. for first grade. These payments are net, there being no deductions for share capital or railage. Owing to the recent rains the supply of cream to the company's factory at Helensvillo should be well maintained. The Albertland Co-operative Dairy Company, Limited, made an advance payment on November 20 for cream supplied during October at the rate of 6£d per lb. of butter-fat for superfine quality with the usual deductions for first and second-grade quality. The final payment on the supply for 193334 will be made in a few days. About 1080 boxes of butter are being made weekly, being a big increase over last iseason when the factory was nt Port Albert. The increase is mainly du* 1 to the closing of the factory at Hakaru, the supply from this district now coming to the new factory at To Hana. The Railway Department ha 9 completed the siding to the factory and it is now being used for the receipt of coal and supplies, and the despatch of butter.
